Stax O Trax was a legendary West Hollywood record store. Starting as Discount Records in 1968, it became Stax O Trax in 1971. Along with Peaches Records and Liquorice Pizza, it was one of the stores frequently chosen by LA bands for album launches, hosting in store appearances by The Doors, The Beach Boys and Love among others.
