Refund policy
We hope you will love every purchase from our store. However, if you do need to return or exchange a purchase, please see below for details on the process. Please do choose carefully, as we do not provide refunds for changes of mind, for in-store or online purchases.
Online Returns & Exchanges
- If you need to return an online purchase, please email us at info@thatwasthen.co.nz within 48 hours of receiving the goods. We will give you all the details on what to do next.
- Any goods must be received by us within 14 days of the purchase. We strongly recommend using track and trace to resend your parcel, as goods are the customer's responsibility until received by us. Please note we do not cover return shipping costs.
- Goods must be in original condition - they must still be brand new, unworn, with tags/packaging still attached. Any footwear must be in its original box, and have no marks or blemishes. Please consider your shipping, as any packaging (eg: shoebox) is part of the product.
- We will provide either an exchange of goods or a refund. Please note, all shipping and handling fees are non-refundable, any complimentary shipping costs will be deducted from the final eligible refund.
- Refunds can only be issued using original the payment method. Exchanges will be processed as store credit, with year-long eligibility.
- if you are able to, we highly recommend using click and collect.
In-store Returns & Exchanges
- In-store purchases may be exchanged or returned for store credit within 14 days of purchase. Please be aware we do not offer refunds for in-store purchases.
- any goods needing to be exchanged must be in original, unworn & unwashed condition with tags attached. All packaging is considered part of the product.
Sale Items
- all sale items are final, and cannot be returned or exchanged.
Faulty Items
- We hope that all products are of the highest quality, and we hope you will be completely satisfied with every purchase. However, if you feel that an item you have received is faulty, please email us immediately. We will offer an exchange/store credit or a refund if we cannot replace the item.
