Anchor Chain Bracelet

Founded in 2014, Kobashi Studio is a Tokyo-based atelier specialising in handmade Japanese accessories and jewellery, led by designer Junichi Kobashi.

With solid brass as the signature material of the collection, Kobashi crafts with with authentic materials and artisanal precision. Each creation involves significant handwork and is produced in small batches, embracing traditional roots with contemporary design. 

This is a made-in-Japan twist-link bracelet, woven from 2.5mm solid brass wire on an old chain-making machine. Each link is further smoothed with a super-tumble process, giving the chain both durability and a refined finish.  The chain is paired with a sand-casted classic anchor hook, plated with nickel-free real silver over 10 microns for a rich, deep shine. After plating, each piece is specially stone-washed, giving it a subtle, vintage look.

It can be polished with a silver cloth for extra shine, and over time will naturally develop the patina of real silver, adding character to each piece.

The bracelet can be adjusted to your preferred size using the three twist-chain links at the end. To keep its condition, we recommend removing it before showering or swimming.

Each item comes with a handmade suede pouch made from Japanese tanned pig leather.
