W'menswear is a Bangkok based design studio, led by Lauren Yates. Driven by a vision to readapt mens garments for the contemporary woman, we love the strong female silhouette and the emphasis on sustainable & ethical production. She primarily uses women-led artisan factories & authentic methods of fabrication to weave the stories of trail-blazing women throughout history. Hard hitting garments for hard hitting women!
This season "She Rode the Dawn" delves into the excitement of early female motorcycle culture, tracing the lineage through women dispatch riders of WWII. These women, cloaked in waxed gaberdine, navigating war-torn orads with grit and grace, become the muse for a collection built on utility, endurance, and unexpected beauty. She Rode The Dawn is a collection for women who, like those who came before, ride headlong into the unknown, and shape the world in motion.
The season, the bowling shirt is made from a deadstock slubbed chambray, woven in Japan. A simple cut, which drapes beautifully due to the lush fabric and brings out a gentle feminine silhouette to the classic bowling shirt shape. Super flattering, super comfortable - the best of both worlds really.
