W'menswear is a Bangkok based design studio, led by Lauren Yates.  Driven by a vision to readapt mens garments for the contemporary woman, we love the strong female silhouette and the emphasis on sustainable & ethical production.  She primarily uses women-led artisan factories & authentic methods of fabrication to weave the stories of trail-blazing women throughout history.  Hard hitting garments for hard hitting women! 

This season "She Rode the Dawn" delves into the excitement of early female motorcycle culture, tracing the lineage through women dispatch riders of WWII.  These women, cloaked in waxed gaberdine, navigating war-torn orads with grit and grace, become the muse for a collection built on utility, endurance, and unexpected beauty.  She Rode The Dawn is a collection for women who, like those who came before, ride headlong into the unknown, and shape the world in motion. 

The despatch jacket is a new silhouette for the season, & is a structured piece inspired by vintage military uniforms. Tailored yet utilitarian, it balances sharp proportion with everyday function. Two oversized chest pockets and an adjustable waistband belt reference classic field jackets, allowing the silhouette to be worn closer to the body or slightly relaxed.
