Reversible Trench

W'menswear is a Bangkok based design studio, led by Lauren Yates.  Driven by a vision to readapt mens garments for the contemporary woman, we love the strong female silhouette and the emphasis on sustainable & ethical production.  She primarily uses women-led artisan factories & authentic methods of fabrication to weave the stories of trail-blazing women throughout history.  Hard hitting garments for hard hitting women! 

This season draws inspiration from early women’s cycling attire (low resolution forms of what womens suiting would later become) and stories of adventure from women who decided to turn traditional female propriety on its ear, this collection sets out to celebrate the spinning revolution. 

This trenchcoat is beautifully designed to be fully reversible, with Hally Stevensons water repellant burgundy fabric on one side, and 100% organic supima cotton houndstooth on the reverse.  The weight of the fabric gives great structure to the shape and style.  It has a contrast collar which can be worn up for extra warmth, and cuff fastenings for the sleeves.  It features 2 deep hand warmer pockets, a two way zip as well as a button down front.  The raglan style sleeve has a curved hem to create structure in the shoulder, but allows comfortable freedom to easily layer up in winter without feeling bulky.  It feels luxurious, warm, cozy and elegant all at once.
