The fabric is a heavy flannel check that combines the dark blue indigo rope-dyed thread that is normally used for denim with coloured thread that is dyed with a special reaction dye that fades naturally. This allows the garment to fade and change over time like denim, yet still has the unique colouring of flannel. Alongside this beautiful and unique fabric, you will note all the usual touchstones of exceptional attention to detail: reinforced elbows, triple needle chainstitch seams with run off, and indigo dyed nut buttons
