Utility Shirt - Washed Indigo Herringbone Denim
This combines everything we love in a shirt & in our shop! Beautiful English workwear
construction bringing to life a mid-century-inspired American 'Garage' work shirt that was
inspired by a visit to a Japanese fast food joint.
It is oversized with a flat square collar and a straight hem. It also has short split sides for a boxy
loose fit, and two large pockets with button-closure flaps.
Named for it's distinctive chevron-like similarities to the "herring" fish, herringbone is such a classic pattern, simple yet distinctive all at once. It was a staple fabric that was used liberally during WWII as the fabric choice for GI's.
